Senior Product Manager

You'll work among star engineers, designers, and operators in a fast-growing environment. The role demands a mix of great technical depth, principled thinking and well-honed product judgement. Given the two-sided nature of our business, this leader will not have the luxury of having tunnel-vision for any one area; rather, you will need to think holistically and understand the business deeply to set the right long term strategy for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Build product strategy encompassing sales, marketing, operations, and product experience for assigned areas
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, launch, and support of innovative products
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that ensure the success of products
  • Monitor performance of your focus area and measure impact of your product enhancements
  • Communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Act as product owner providing clarity and guidance to development organized as Scrum teams

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of product management, preferably in e-commerce 
  • Experience designing user interfaces – experience creating examples through wire frames and mock ups is a plus
  • Customer-centric orientation with proven track-record of developing and acting on customer insights
  • Ability to define opportunities and problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and make valid conclusions
  • Technical background, or technical orientation (enough to be dangerous)
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, from Engineering through Senior Leadership
  • Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balancing consumer needs with business and product priorities, and the ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind product decisions
  • Experience setting up tracking and analyzing Google Analytics preferred

This is a full-time position, compensated at market competitive rates, and includes full benefits and 401(k). Candidates must be available to interview in-person at delivery.com’s New York City location. This role is based in New York City and reports to the VP of Product.
