Social Media Marketing Intern

Join our team!  We’re looking for an enthusiastic and social media-savvy rising junior or senior in college who is interested in gaining social media and digital marketing experience.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop a social content strategy and calendar for each of our major social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and the blog.
  • Take charge of social media content day-to-day, including creating content, posting, active monitoring, responding to, and distribution of follower feedback.
  • Support Digital Marketing Manager in execution of paid social activity (e.g., promoted posts, contests, etc.).
  • Competitive analysis of both social marketing strategy and creative assets generates by our competitors and other best-in-class delivery startups; make recommendations for changes to our strategy and campaigns (e.g., social contests, content, etc.).
  • Work with Email and Social Media Marketing Associate to generate reporting on our paid and unpaid social engagement (what’s working and what’s not based on insights from our performance metrics).
  • Support rest of marketing team with ongoing one-off tasks to execute's consumer and merchant marketing objectives and strategies.

You have an avid love for the written word—crafting the perfect tweet is an art to you!—and a deep understanding of social media platforms. You pride yourself on staying on the cutting edge of what’s up-and-coming in social technology. In particular, you love photo sharing and have trouble digging into a meal before first snapping a ‘gram.
